BEFORE All Hair
BREAKS Loose

Hair, like any other part of our body, requires certain nutrients in order to insure its proper health. These nutrients are provided to the hair bulb for cellular replication by way of the circulatory systems, thereby helping your hair improve your blood to the body functions in general, and to the hair seeds in particular. To grow healthy, robust, attractive hair, you must take advantage of the qualities of the blood. Blood is a living, growing thing. It consist of a fluid part or plasma which carries the nutritive factors made from the food we eat to all tissues of the body, including the hair bulb.

Since hair is primarily composed of protein (keratin), it obviously will require protein as a nutrient for its proper health. A diet deficient in protein can lead to a temporary change of color (depigmented) and texture, which can result in thin, dry hair, which is easily shed. It has been observed that a protein deficiency can result in higher proportion of hairs being in the telogen stage of the hair growth cycle.

Carbohydrates are needed to provide energy for protein utilization as well as improving cell replication in the hair follicles. Fats are also important nutrients, especially for the proper function of the sebaceous glands, which produce the natural conditioner of the hair. How do we transmit these invaluable nutrients to the hair? Through the bloodstream. And how do they get into the bloodstream? The basic ingredients must come from the food we eat, which is broken down by the digestive enzymes of the stomach and intestinal tract.

The value of sound nutrition cannot be denied when one realizes that the arteries bring oxygenated and nutritive blood to the hair root while the veins carry away the waste and carbon dioxide.

Therefore, if we add to the correct diet - the correct massage (for blood circulation), we can bring more of the health-giving blood to the area where it is needed - the scalp.
